Updated BETA release for PDF Assessment
New! Biopsychosocial and Assessments now available as a PDF (S2K-989)
Users can now access a PDF of an Assessment directly from the Case History screen. This PDF is an easy, print-friendly way to view all information entered on the Assessment, and it's available for any service with the ASU type designation - namely Assessments and Biopsychosocial Assessments.
Along with the Assessment PDF, we implemented a robust signature workflow that formalizes the process for reviewers to sign or request changes to an Assessment. At each step of the way, the Assessment PDF provides a record of the data entered into the Assessment, signatures added, and who requested changes, if applicable.
For more specific information on this new feature, please check out the user guide on our Support Portal here.
IMPORTANT: This feature is currently in BETA and therefore we would appreciate partner feedback! Please work with your PSM or send it directly to the product team: productmanagement@smartmgmt.com.
BEFORE YOU UPDATE, PLEASE CONSIDER:
Before choosing to update to this version, please consult with your Partner Success Manager regarding any ASUs for patients that are saved complete and pending signatures. You will need to decide how your clinic wishes to handle the migration of these documents. There will be two options to consider and you must choose one:
Option 1
Complete the signing of any assessments that have already been saved complete before you update to this version. Choosing this option means you only need to capture the remaining signatures on these documents; however the finalized version of the assessment will be saved in the traditional way in SMART (no PDF version corresponding to it.) You can determine how many are in this state by reviewing the list from the Tx module in SMART under the Assessment tab in Signature Pending of the Clinical Dashboard:
IMPORTANT: You must complete all signatures prior to your software update or the remaining assessments will be in a static state indefinitely.
OR
Option 2
Have SMART migrate them to the PDF service for you. This will delete any signatures that have been captured already and will require that they be signed again. The benefit to this option is that these assessments will then also be saved as a PDF.
You can also plan to complete as many as possible before the update to preserve the signatures that have already been captured, and then SMART can convert the remaining as prescribed in Option 2.
