What is SMART Account Management?
Launching with our newest platform (TSplus), users are being empowered to manage their accounts in real-time without needing to reach out to their IT, Helpdesk, or SMART Support. This guide is an extensive walk-through of it’s capabilities. It should be used a reference only.
How do I access SMART Account Management?
From the SMART Cloud TSplus gateway(https://tsplus.smartcloud.host): Click on Account Enrollment or forgotten password
What can I do in SMART Account Management?
Enroll (Must be done in order to reset a forgotten password)
Click Enroll. Next enter your SMART Cloud Username and Password. Then press Next.
Enter your email address. This will be used to verify you are who you say you are should you have any problems remembering your password. Then press Next.
Select and answer all three questions. Ensure you know the answers as these will also be used to verify you are who you say you are should you forget your password. Then press Next.
Congrats! You are enrolled! Press Finish to complete enrollment and return to the main page.
Reset a forgotten password (Must have previously enrolled!)
Click I forgot my password. Next enter your SMART Cloud Username. Check I’m not a robot. You may have to complete a reCAPTCHA exercise. Then press Next. An email will be sent to your email on file. Press Finish to return to the main page.
Once you receive the email, click the link contained within. You may need to highlight the link and copy and paste into your web browser. Answer your security questions and then press Next.
Enter your new password following the password rules above. Confirm the password. Then press Next. You will receive a notification if your password is reset successfully. Additionally a confirmation email will be sent to you. Press Finish to return to the main page or close out.
Unlock account (Must have previously enrolled!)
Click Unlock Account. Next enter your SMART Cloud Username. Check I’m not a robot. You may have to complete a reCAPTCHA exercise. Then press Next. Answer your security questions and then press Next. If successful you will receive a notification that it has been unlocked. Press Finish to return to the main page or close out.
Change Password (Enrollment not required)
Click Change Password. Next enter all data which is requested. You must know your password at this point in order to change it. This is useful for keeping multiple passwords in sync. Check I’m not a robot. You may have to complete a reCAPTCHA exercise. Then press Next. If successful you will receive a notification that your password has been changed. Press Finish to return to the main page or close out.
Helpdesk Access
Click Helpdesk Access. Next enter your SMART Cloud Username and password. Press Next and enter the SMART Cloud username for the user who’s password you are resetting. Then enter and confirm the password which you are resetting to. Finally press Next. If successful you will receive a notification that the password was changed. Press Finish to return to the main page or close out.
