Overview
The Risk Information Management feature lets SMART users add risk information to patient profiles so that clinic staff can better manage patient care and safety.
Manage Risk Information
Users must have the new User can access risk management data permission enabled to view or add/edit patient risk information. Additionally, users can only see patient risk information in programs for which they have permissions.
View Risk Information
To view existing risk information for a patient, select the patient and then go to Case History > Risk Management.
Risk entries are color coded by program and are listed with the most recently updated entries at the top of the grid. To view additional details for a risk entry, click the entry to highlight it and then select View/Edit.
Add Risk Information
On the Risk Management tab, select Add New.
Click the checkboxes to select all relevant patient risks.
Using the Program dropdown, select the corresponding patient program. Only programs for which you have permissions appear in the list.
Select the risk’s status. This field defaults to Active for new entries.
Save your changes.
Edit Risk Information
Note: Only the risk’s status is editable. Add a new risk to make additional changes.
On the Risk Management tab, select View/Edit
Update the risk’s status as needed.
Save your changes.
